Wailoa Arts & Cultural Center invites the public to stop by and enjoy the annual Bonsai Exhibit hosted by the Mokuhonua Bonsai Club and invited guests. The show will be open from 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.

On both days, members will be available to answer questions, as well as provide hands-on demonstrations.

“There will be a limited supply of plants that the public can work on with club members that they can take home with a small donation,” said Wailoa administrator Codie King.

Saturday will also feature ongoing demonstrations by Clyde Abelye, who will be using junipers to plant in the “Yose Ue,” or forest-planting style.

This annual event is free and open to all. For additional information, please call 933-0416.
